Description de l'attribut id
L'attribut id nous permet d'attribuer un identifiant unique au sein du document pour l'élément auquel il se rapporte. Ceci peut être vérifié par un analyseur SGML.HTML spécifie plusieurs rôles pour l'attribut id :
- il peut servir de sélecteur dans une feuille de style (CSS).
- il peut servir d'ancre cible de liens hypertextes.
- les scripts peuvent accéder aux éléments en fonction de leur attribut id.
- il peut servir de nom pour un élément object déclaré
- il peut servir à un traitement universel par les navigateurs
