Le Pays Qâ
Album n°10 dans la série Thorgal
Synopsis
Pied d'Arbre et son neveu Tjall profitent d'un repos bien mérité en compagnie de Thorgal, d'Aaricia et de Jolan sur l'île.
On raconte que le dieu Ogotaï est sorti des eaux et qu'après avoir initié une pacifique tribu de pêcheurs à l'art de la guerre, il a massacré les peuples du pays Qâ. Seuls survivants, les Xinjins ont obtenu la protection du dieu Tanatloc. Pour vaincre totalement l'ennemi, il faut cependant le déposséder de son casque magique.
Kriss de Valnor veut relever ce défi. Pour obliger Thorgal et Aaricia à l'aider, elle fait enlever Jolan et Argun (Pied d'Arbre)…
Pour retrouver leur fils, Thorgal et Aaricia vont devoir traverser l'océan pour découvrir un pays déchiré par une guerre sans fin.
Anecdote
Le Pays Qâ constitue un polyptyque avec Les Archers, Les Yeux de Tanatloc, La Cité du Dieu Perdu, et Entre Terre et Lumière dans le cadre du Cycle Le Grand Pays.
