Le tuteur de Beast Boy, craignant que Gar apprenne qu'il a volé son fonds en fiducie, met un coup sur Gar. Beast Boy tente de convaincre la Doom Patrol de cela, mais ils sont interrompus et finissent par enquêter sur des signaux étranges d'une petite île où ils rencontrent Kranus, l'empereur des robots. La Doom Patrol et Beast Boy combattent Kranus, qui se révèle être le cerveau. Plus tard, ils vont déjouer le complot d'assassinat de Galtry contre Gar, mais Galtry les surpasse, amenant la Doom Patrol à croire que Gar leur a menti.
