Dormammu accepte de donner à Mordo un pouvoir illimité afin qu'il puisse détruire le Dr Strange.Au Tibet, Mordo et deux partisans attaquent. Strange parvient à mettre son mentor vieillissant en sécurité. Alors que Strange laisse son mentor avec un ermite fidèle, Dormammu envoie des esprits à sa recherche.D'étranges tentatives pour attirer les esprits loin de son mentor affaibli. A Hong Kong, Strange contacte le comptable de The Ancient One, qui lui obtient un passeport pendant qu'il se repose. Strange est entouré des sbires de Mordo et, après une courte bataille, est à nouveau en fuite.
