Rocco Cavalli est prisonnier dans une cage dans laquelle Bernard Prince et Barney Jordan sont enfermés lors de leur arrivée au pénitencier de Suong-Bay.

Il est présenté ironiquement par Whit Cody, son co-détenu, comme « innocent comme un agneau ». Cependant, c'est un criminel extrêmement brutal, et n'hésite pas à tirer une balle dans le dos de Whit Cody alors que ce dernier voulait le laisser s'enliser dans les marécages.

La dernière case de la planche 34 (page 36) semble laisser sous-entendre qu'il serait décédé, dévoré par les crocodiles…
