Newton est le chien de Sir Malcolm! Il s’agit d’un scottie noir dont Bonnie a la charge. Lorsqu’elle décide d’accompagner Yoko et Emilia dans leur voyage de retour vers le 21è siècle, celui-ci les accompagne. Surprise! En débarquant de la machine à remonter le temps de Malcolm, il se précipite vers ce dernier en grognant et essaye même de lui mordre la jambe. Le supposé Malcolm ne reconnaît pas Bonnie non plus… Ce qui met la puce à l’oreille de Yoko. Cet homme est-il celui qu’il prétend être?
