Conan enters a town being sacked by raiders and rescues the slave girl Zuleika. They travel to Castle Crimson, ruled by an old friend of Conan's. Conan travels to the castle of Khelru-Shan to tell him he knows where is his abducted bride and leads him to Castle Crimson. Malthom refuses to turn over Zuleika. Mordek kidnaps her and opens the gate for the forces of Khelru-Shan. Mordek hides in the secret passageway where the lie those he betrayed 20 years earlier. The skeletons come to life and begin their revenge. Khelru-Shan's army is destroyed and the truth behind Zuleika's past is revealed.
