Retour du Congo de Tintin et Milou qui arrivent à la Gare de Bruxelles-Nord, ce qui fait la Une du Petit Vingtième du 16 juillet 1931.

Le 9 juillet 1931, Wallez organise, comme pour Tintin au pays des Soviets, le retour du héros à la Gare de Bruxelles-Nord, cette fois sous les traits de Henry Den Doncker coiffé d’un casque colonial, accompagné d’un chien blanc, de jeunes congolais, Paul Jamin, Hergé et d’enfants déguisés en Quick et Flupke. La foule qui les accompagne et les acclame témoigne du succès de cette nouvelle aventure. C’est un coup d’éclat commercial, les éditions du Petit Vingtième ayant d’ores et déjà proposé l’album à la vente au cours de la manifestation.
