Moralélastix est un chef gaulois non apprécié d'Abraracourcix parce qu'il est avare et collabore avec les Romains. Il confie, puis vole au village gaulois un chaudron plein de sesterces, faisant endosser la responsabilité de la disparition à Astérix, afin de ne pas payer l'impôt à César.
Il n'a aucun rapport avec un autre Moralélastix, un habitant du village gaulois qui apparaît dans le dessin animé Astérix et la Surprise de César.
Étymologie
Moralélastix est l’approximation phonétique de morale élastique.
