Marcus Cubitus est un légionnaire en patrouille dans Astérix et les Goths. Son uniforme lui est volé par Obélix. Il n'a aucun rapport avec un autre Cubitus, chef de cohorte romain du camp d'Aquarium dans les films d'animation Astérix : Le Domaine des dieux et Astérix : Le Secret de la potion magique.
Étymologie
Cubitus est un os long qui constitue, avec le radius, l'avant-bras. C'est peut-être aussi un hommage à la bande dessinée de Dupa.
