Nous avons vu comment modifier le répertoire d’installation de Hudson, et nous avons lance Hudson en ligne de commande (java - jar hudson-2.1.0.war).

Un moyen d’arrêter Hudson est de stopper l’invite de commande (prompt) dans lequel nous avons effectue la commande pour démarrer Hudson, par la combinaison [Ctrl]+c.

Il est plus intéressant sous un serveur Windows d’installer Hudson en tant que service.
Pour cela, nous utilisons l’interface Web de Hudson (par défaut l’URL du serveur et le port 8080). Dans le panneau de gauche, "Administrer Hudson/Installer comme service/"
Si nous désirons stopper Hudson, il nous suffit alors de stopper le service Hudson (par exemple dans les outils d’administration/Services).

Attention, si nous avons encore notre invite de commande avec la commande java - jar hudson.war qui est en cours d’exécution, le fait de stopper le service Hudson ne suffit pas; nous devons aussi stopper l’invite de commande comme nous l’avons vu, par la combinaison [Ctrl]+c.

Pour démarrer Hudson, nous devons alors simplement démarrer le service.
