Lors de l'installation de nombreux logiciels, le nom d'utilisateur et de société sont souvent repris par défaut suivant ceux introduits lors de l'installation de Windows. Il est cependant possible de modifier ces données dans la base de registre.

Procédure


Avant toute modification dans la base de registre, pensons à sauvegarder les fichiers User.dat et System.dat (fichiers cachés situés à la racine du disque C).
Enfin nous pouvons effectuer les modifications:
  • Dans le menu démarrer, sélectionner exécuter.
  • Taper REGEDIT, puis valider par OK.
  • Ouvrir HKLM / SOFTWARE / Microsoft / WindowsNT / Current Version.
  • Dans le volet de droite, sélectionner la clé RegisteredOwner.
  • Introduire le nom souhaité, puis valider par le bouton OK.
Consulter la page Web Plus de renseignements sur la base de registre.

La clé ne se trouve plus dans HKLM / SOFTWARE / Microsoft / Windows / CurrentVersion

mais bien dans
HKLM / SOFTWARE / Microsoft / WindowsNT / CurrentVersion
