Sous X-Window, si on ne définit pas la TV comme seul moniteur, la synchronisation verticale se fait sur l'autre écran (CRT ou DVI), ce qui nous laisse pour seul écran notre TV, ou l'alternative de voir des films avec une mauvaise synchronisation verticale.

L'astuce consiste a utiliser le driver d'affichage vidéo (vo) gl2 de mplayer, et demander la synchronisation verticale de l'image sur l'écran de TV.

La variable d'environnement __GL_SYNC_TO_VBLANK mise à 1, active la synchronisation verticale, et __GL_SYNC_DISPLAY_DEVICE mis a "TV-0" force la synchronisation sur la TV.
