    [2] 01/03/2021 - Dernière modification le 21/03/2021 Ken m'a tuer est une phrase grammaticalement incorrecte, liée au meurtre de la poupée Barbie. La police a pensé en 1991 que l'affaire était simple. Barbie était amie avec Blaine, un surfeur australien qui travaillait à temps partiel pour elle en tant que jardinier , lors de sa séparation avec Ken. La cause du décès était de multiples coups de couteau - 18 en tout - à la poitrine et à l'abdomen (mais comme la tête n'est pas là, est-ce peut-être la vraie cause du décès; a-t-elle longtemps vécu sans tête comme certaines autres femmes? ). Le médecin légiste a estimé qu'il avait fallu entre 15 et 30 minutes à la femme blessée pour mourir après l'agression initiale. L'heure du décès n'a pas été difficile à établir car Mme Barbie Handler avait téléphoné à une amie à 11 ans: 48 heures du matin ce dimanche fatidique mais n'avait pas réussi à arriver au Davis 'à 13 heures (Jessie et Woody Davis sont les voisins de Barbie). Selon la police qui a retrouvé le corps, la porte du sous-sol - le seul moyen d'entrée ou de sortie - avait été barricadée par un lit pliant et une barre de fer, apparemment placés là par la femme assassinée pour empêcher le retour de son agresseur. À l'intérieur de la porte se trouvait le message Ken m'a tuer - Ken m'a tué - tracé d'un doigt dans le sang de la victime, et plus loin encore le même message, incomplet cette fois et à peine lisible: Ken m'a t.... Il y avait aussi une empreinte de main sanglante. Le sang a été confirmé plus tard comme étant celui de Mme Barbie. Le lieu est à présent totalement rasé. La localisation et le nom passent donc en visibilité "public".

    [8] 28/03/2021 - Dernière modification le 04/04/2021 Cowpers Un cowper moderne consiste en cylindre vertical en acier de 6 à 9 m de diamètre et s'élevant à 20 à 35 m. Cette enceinte est remplie de briques réfractaires dont la nature dépend de leur rôle : on a des briques isolantes qui protègent la face interne du blindage du cowper, et des briques stockant et restituant la chaleur. Ces dernières servent à la construction du puits de combustion, où se déploie la flamme, et du rûchage, un empilement de briques perforées qui absorbe la chaleur des fumées. Le puits est souvent intégré dans le cylindre où il occupe environ un tiers de la section du four. Les plus gros cowpers sont dotés de puits externes qui permettent de mieux isoler la zone de combustion de celle d’accumulation/restitution de chaleur. La chauffe étant plus lente que le refroidissement, chaque haut fourneau est doté de trois, parfois quatre, cowpers passant alternativement dans chaque phase. En fonctionnement continu, un cowper restitue sa chaleur pendant environ 30 min, avant que le vent soit orienté vers le cowper qui vient de finir une réchauffe de 50 min (durée à laquelle il faut ajouter les phases d'inertage et de mise en pression, qui durent 10 min). Un cowper moderne peut réchauffer environ 1,4 tonne de vent à 1 200 °C, par tonne de fonte. Lorsqu’il restitue sa chaleur, c'est donc, pour un haut fourneau produisant 6 000 t de fonte par jour, un four d'une puissance d'environ 100 MW. La chauffe est effectuée par combustion d'une partie du gaz produit par le haut fourneau, qui doit être mélangé avec un gaz riche pour atteindre les températures souhaitées. Specifically, minigun refers to a specific model of weapon, originally produced by General Electric. The "Mini" of the name is in comparison to designs that use a similar firing mechanism but larger shells, such as General Electric's earlier 20 mm M61 Vulcan, and "gun" referencing the delineation between a cannon, that of a caliber higher than 20 millimeters—and gun—within certain ranges.   • L'église aux briques rouges

    [10] 11/03/2021 - Dernière modification le 26/03/2021 Cette église abandonnée est connue dans le monde de l'urbex sous les appellations Stefenie's church, the red church, ou encore Sugar Beet Church. La photo semble avoir été prise pendant la journée, mais il faisait complètement noir au moment de la prise de vue. Avec Seb, nous avions pris des photos dans différents endroits en Allemagne de l'Est toute la journée, et j'ai ensuite roulé en direction des endroits à visiter le lendemain. Un petit arrêt s'imposait dans cette belle église sur notre chemin vers l'endroit où planter la tente... Ce n'était vraiment pas facile de faire le cadrage et la mise au point a été faite sur l'hyperfocale. Ouverture de plus de dix minutes en mode Bulb, et les murs sont balayés avec la lampe de poche. Les habitants de ce village ont dû penser que les esprits hantaient l'église, ou qu'elle avait été transformée en boîte de nuit, à cause des rayons lumineux passant par les fenêtres.
