La base Militaire de Salmon est une ville fictive, théâtre de la tragédie en BD Orage aux Aléoutiennes, mettant en scène Bruno Brazil et le commando Caïman aux prises avec des passeurs d'immigrants.
J'ai choisi ce point de l'île pour abriter la base, car il existe en réalité une ancienne piste d'aviation à cet endroit, et il y a aussi eu à cet endroit des bâtiments d'une exploitation de cuivre.
