Paolo Grella
Date de naissance : 13-07-1980
Paolo Grella est né le 13 juillet 1980 en Allemagne mais il vit et travaille à Fabriano, en Italie.
Son diplôme d’orthodontiste en poche, il s’inscrit à l’École internationale de bande dessinée de Rome, où il suit des cours de dessin et peinture pendant trois ans. À l’issue de cette formation, il réalise un stage à l’Institut d’animation de Cuba.
Grâce à sa rencontre avec Marya Smirnoff en 2005, il réalise avec Le Manuscrit interdit (Delcourt) sa première expérience en tant que dessinateur de bande dessinée aux côtés de l’un des plus grands scénaristes italiens, Roberto Dal Pra’.
En 2011, c’est avec Frank Giroud qu’il entreprend une nouvelle saga en trois tomes,Galkiddek (Delcourt).
Libertalia signe son entrée chez Casterman.
