Si on ne trouve pas Windows Update, il est aussi possible de l'appeler en appuyant sur les touches Windows+r pour lancer la commande "Exécuter" ( ou par le Menu Démarrer/Exécuter).
Puis de lancer la commande dans la boîte de dialogue :


wupdmgr.exe



Pousser ensuite sur la touche Entrée.

Remarque : Dans Windows Xp le chemin complet est :


c :\\windows\\system32\\wupdmgr.exe



Une autre méthode:

Passage par "Aide et Support"
Pour cela :

- - Menu Démarrer, touche Windows

- - Lettre "A" une ou plusieurs fois pour descendre à "Aide et Support".

On peut aussi atteindre directement "Aide et Support" en appuyant sur F1 quand on se trouve sur le Bureau.

Une fenêtre apparaît intitulée "Centre d'Aide et de Support".

Tabulez plusieurs fois jusqu'à entendre "Maintenez votre ordinateur à jour avec Windows Update" et validez par Entrée pour vous retrouver sur le site de Windows Update.
