Mythica 3 démarre lorsque Thane est retenu en otage par Peregus Malister, le chef de la guilde des voleurs, forçant Marek à s'embarquer dans une mission corrompue afin de servir cette guilde. Mais lorsque cette mission les mènent dans les griffes de Szorlok – leur plus grand ennemi, Marek doit sacrifier ses ambitions et son âme pour sauver ses amis avant qu'ils soient tués et pour empêcher Szorlok de mettre la main sur le Darkspore.
