En 2080, deux espèces se partagent désormais le monde : l'homme et des créatures artificielles à son image, les cyborgs. Un commando d'une unité d'élite chargée de retirer de la circulation les cyborgs défectueux ou rebelles, R tombe pourtant amoureux de celle qu'il aurait dû éliminer, la belle Ria. Si, sous trois jours, R ne peut greffer la puce mémoire de Ria dans un nouveau corps, celle-ci mourra. Une seule solution pour éviter l'inéluctable : faire appel à Croy, un inquiétant scientifique qui prétend connaître le moyen de prolonger la vie au-delà de ses limites. Mais, dans son ombre, se profile la silhouette de Cyper, un cyborg de combat en quête d'immortalité…
Les parents sont fortement invités à surveiller les enfants de moins de 13 ans
