Le retour de Bob

Many people are leaving the valley where Carol and Bob's families live. With her father ill, Carol's family too will soon have to leave. But Bob comes up with the idea of entering an association with Carol's family to transform a barn into a dance hall and run a inn where people from the city can come to enjoy the country. Carol hopes the partnership will lead to more between her and Bob, but he has never spoken of love to her. When he returns from his studies for the inauguration, he brings the beautiful daughter of an investor and Carol hears rumors that they will be married.
