Le kraï du Kamtchatka (en russe : Камча́тский край, Kamtchatski kraï) est un kraï de Russie qui a vu le jour le  après la fusion de l'oblast du Kamtchatka et de la Koriakie, fusion approuvée par un référendum tenu le . Il est constitué par la péninsule du même nom et les îles du Commandeur.

Камчатский край couvre une superficie de 464,275i  km2 avec une population de 316,116i habitants (2016), soit densité de 0.68 habitants par Km2.

Камчатский край : descriptif

Sa population a significativement diminué depuis la dislocation de l'Union soviétique (466 089 habitants en 1989). Plus des deux-tiers des habitants résident à proximité de sa capitale administrative, Petropavlovsk-Kamtchatski. L'activité industrielle est principalement liée à la pêche, l'exploitation forestière, et des minerais tels que le charbon et le lignite sont aussi extraits.

Depuis 2009, quatre grands parcs naturels ont été regroupés sous la dénomination Parc naturel des volcans du Kamtchatka.
