Médecin de la police de Singapour, il diagnostique chez Johnny Lombardi la présence du bacile de Yersin, familièrement connu sous le nom de la peste. Il placera d'ailleurs Barney Jordan en observation, puisqu'il a été en contact avec le gang Lombardi lorsqu'ils ont volé le Cormoran.
