Après avoir tenu les Allemands en échec à Bastogne, la compagnie, pourtant exténuée, a pour mission de reprendre aux ennemis la ville toute proche de Foy. Plusieurs soldats sont tués et blessés au cours de bombardements intensifs durant l'opération. Cette situation désastreuse est partiellement due à l'incompétence de leur commandant, le lieutenant Dike. Malgré ces lourdes pertes, la compagnie finit par prendre Foy, mais le prix de la victoire est lourd à porter !
