Dans le monde des messageries instantanées, un nouveau logiciel, IMVU, présente la particularité de placer les intervenants en situation.
Vous pouvez donc aisément inviter votre interlocuteur à une conversation dans un bar, ou dans un des autres endroits proposés. Les personnages sont dessinés, et les paroles se présentent de la même manière que dans une bande dessinée.
Il est même possible d’acheter votre propre personnage, ses vêtements, et d’autres accessoires.
