ZANHEDRIN : De son vrai nom AZ-AZAL. Originaire de la lointaine planète Noor, a été exilé et s'est réfugié sur terre avec un matériel d'une technologie très avancée. Il profite de cette technologie (capable entre autre de voyager dans le temps) pour se faire passer pour un sorcier et se faire payer fort cher son "art". Il envoi Yoland de Montalde à Niviork en 3322 pour rechercher la Rose qui abrite la Vapeur Rose. Tué par Ming qu'il voulait escroquer en gardant pour lui la Rose.
