Balatonfüred (hongrois : Balatonfüred [ˈbɒlɒtonˌfyrɛd] ; allemand : Bad Plattensee ; slovaque : Blatenské Teplice) est une localité hongroise située dans le comitat de Veszprém, au bord du lac Balaton. Considérée comme la « capitale de la rive nord du Balaton », Balatonfüred est la plus ancienne station balnéaire du lac
Elle figure au sixième rang des destinations touristiques les plus fréquentées de Hongrie en nombre de nuitées passées dans les hébergements commerciaux
Sa renommée tient autant à sa proximité avec le Balaton qu'à ses eaux chaudes acidulées contenant des hydrogénocarbonates, du calcium et du magnésium qui soulagent et guérissent les troubles circulatoires et les maladies cardio-vasculaires
La ville dispose également d'un port de plaisance de grande importance.
