La reine Abarrane était une reine maya qui a émigré du Mexique pour échapper à la sécheresse qui ravageait le pays. Elle est arrivée à Kuwaq Yaku où elle a établi une colonie. Sur son lit de mort, elle a choisi un gardien de sa lignée pour la protéger.
