Dans la ville fantasmagorique de Raven's End, une jeune fille égarée se réfugie dans une vieille morgue décrépite. Le croque-mort excentrique raconte l'histoire étrange de la ville à travers une série de contes tordus, tous plus terrifiants les uns que les autres, mais le monde de la jeune fille est dérangé quand elle découvre que l'histoire finale … est la sienne.
