Yotam, 13 ans, est obsédé par le vol, mais sa mère surprotectrice ne le laissera pas s'approcher des avions, surtout après avoir perdu son père dans un écrasement d'avion il y a quelques années. Lorsque Yotam et son camarade de classe Noa trouvent un avion antique rare dans la casse locale, ils font équipe avec Morris, un solitaire grincheux de 80 ans qui était pilote. Ensemble, ils essaient de redonner vie à l'avion, juste à temps pour le spectacle aérien annuel.
