On sait peu de choses sur la cousine Ying. Elle est Chinoise et est donc de parenté avec Yoko du côté paternel, puisque la mère du père de Yoko était Chinoise. On voit à ses traits qu’elle est beaucoup plus âgée que Yoko. Elle ne jouera pas de rôle actif majeur, mais elle est tout de même là pour porter main forte chez le grand-père de Rosée du matin, dans Le dragon de Hong-Kong.
