Ancien membre de la CIA, le beau Ronald est l’amant et le complice de la Comtesse Olga dans L’or du Rhin. Avec Olga, il veut négocier la destruction de têtes nucléaires par un procédé appelé "Chambre du néant" qui permettrait, en principe, de faire tout disparaître. Ce qu’ils veulent, en fait, c’est acheter les brevets de cette invention et s’en emparer pour les monnayer à leur avantage. La situation ne tournera pas tout à fait comme prévu et Mac Leen, au final, démontrera qu’il se soucie peu d’Olga.
