A low-powered Superman goes to the Fortress of Solitude to try to travel to the past and battle Lord Satanis and get his powers back, but Satanis blocks him. Meanwhile, Superman's duplicate with the other half of his powers is still held by Syrene in the past. Back in the present, Superman must battle the villain Jackhammer, without his invulnerability. Superman gets hit hard and goes down.
