Mako, dessinateur, habite à Douai. Il enseigne les arts plastiques dans le Nord, sa région de prédilection graphique. Déjà illustrateur de nouvelles de Didier Daeninckx, il dessine les premiers scénarios de bande dessinée du romancier (Le Train des oubliés et Bravado). Pour Bravado, série historique, il abandonne son style photographique habituel pour un graphisme réaliste plus dynamique.
