Lanfeust et ses quatre épouses peuvent enfin donner au Magohamoth l'épice qui va régénérer l'animal de magie.
Mais ils sont rejoints par Lylth, la dévoreuse de mondes, qui traque toujours la bête fabuleuse à bord d'une armada où elle a fait embarquer tous les habitants d'Eckmül.
Parmi eux, Hébus le troll et quelques sages du conservatoire, qui sont les seuls à ne pas être hypnotisés par la déesse.
Lanfeust, déguisé, va rejoindre Hébus mais c'est au milieu d'un mystérieux continent d'algues et de ses habitants que va se dénouer cet épisode…
