Christophe Alvès est né le 12 février 1965 à Nevers. Après l'obtention d' un BTS en mécanique-automatisme, il exerce un métier « sérieux » dans l'industrie avant de démissionner pour se lancer dans sa passion : le dessin. En tant qu'illustrateur, il réalise depuis environ dix ans, des affiches, des logos, des dessins publicitaires, des jeux pour enfants… Lors de stages de scénario, il rencontre Rodolphe, Makyo, Léturgie, Dieter… Puis intervient une rencontre déterminante, celle de Thierry Cailleteau, qui lui présente Samuel Bournazel. « Dusty Dawn » est né !
