Latraviata est une tragédienne de Rome et se fait passer pour la belle Falbala dans Astérix et Latraviata, afin de récupérer les armes de Pompée (ex-allié de César). Elle recevra, de la part d'Astérix, ce que Jules César appelle un « moi d'or » (en référence aux Césars du cinéma) au grand étonnement de celui-ci.
Étymologie
Latraviata est l’approximation phonétique de La Traviata, un opéra de Giuseppe Verdi dont l’action se déroule à Paris et dans ses environs autour de 1850. La Traviata raconte l'histoire d'Alfredo Germont, jeune homme issu d'une bonne famille provençale, qui tombe amoureux d’une courtisane en vue, Violetta Valéry, lors d’une soirée privée à Paris.
