Jim Asteryx arrive sur Mars après être passé par Jupiter, par Junon, et par Mercure (ce trajet ressemble à une liste d'exclamations gauloises, non?). Avec son copilote Obélyx ils découvrent enfin les Romains, nom donné àcette étrange race de martiens.
Étymologie
Le nom Asteryx laisse penser que ce guerrier Terrien pourrait être un descendant du valeureux gaulois Astérix.
