Appatix est un chef corse cité dans Astérix en Corse.
Étymologie
Appatix est l’approximation phonétique de apathique, un état d'indifférence à l'émotion, la motivation ou la passion.
Même si la Corse ne faisait pas partie de la Gaule et n'était pas de culture celte, les auteurs ont choisi de terminer leurs noms en -ix, comme pour les autres peuples de Gaule, afin de les assimiler aux Corses modernes, faisant partie de la France.
