Méthode rapide
Allez dans le dossier qui contient vos programmes (Généralement C:\Program Files\).
Vérifiez que vous avez bien quitté Messenger (sinon, fermez le programme).
Renommez le dossier Messenger en MessengerOFF.
Méthode propre
Etape 1 : Rendre visible Windows Messenger dans la liste des programmes à désinstaller.
Vérifier que les dossiers chachés sont affichés (Outils\Options des dossiers).
Trouver le dossier C:\Windows\inf.
Dans ce dossier, faire clic droit sur le fichier Sysoc.inf, sélectionner la commande Ouvrir.
Une nouvelle fenêtre apparaît.
Dans la ligne commençant par msmsgs=, supprimer le mot hide.
Exemple :
Remplacer msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,hide,7
par msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,7
Etape 2 : Désinstaller le programme.
Dans Paramètres\Panneau de configuration, sélectionner "Ajout/Suppression de programmes".
Supprimer Windows Messenger.
Méthode "commande"
Dans le menu Démarrer, cliquer sur Exécuter.
Introduire la commande suivante :
RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%/INF/msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove
Cliquer sur OK.
NB : Cette commande doit être introduite sans espaces (si des espaces sont présents sur cette page, cela est dù à un problème inhérant à l'affichage automatique).
