Quand nous installons un nouveau périphérique sous Windows 98, il arrive que ce dernier ne trouve plus automatiquement une IRQ libre.
Nous pouvons afficher les IRQ qui sont libres de la manière suivante :


Cliquer avec le bouton droit de la souris sur le Poste de travail
Cliquer sur Propriétés
Dans l'onglet Gestionnaire de périphériques, sélectionner Ordinateur
Cliquer ensuite sur Propriétés.


La liste des IRQ et de leurs utilisations s'affiche alors.
