Windows XP est configuré par défaut pour enregistrer des informations sur les performances de vos disques durs. Or ce monitoring augmente inutilement les temps de transfert de vos disques.
Pour le désactiver, cliquez sur le bouton Démarrer, sur Exécuter, entrez cmd puis validez par Entrée.

Dans la fenêtre DOS, vous pouvez taper la commande:

diskperf -n


Puis pressez la touche entrée.
