Quand vous placez une carte réseau dans votre pc sous xp, celui ci en garde une trace, même si vous retirez physiquement la carte. Mais vous ne pouvez plus la voir...
Pour afficher la totalité des périphériques cachés (même les traces des matériels désinstallés tels que carte réseau) que vous pouvez supprimer sans danger, procédez de la manière suivante:
Allez à la clé HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager\Environment
Créez à droite une nouvelle une valeur chaîne DEVMGR_SHOW_NONPRESENT_DEVICES et donnez lui la valeur 1
