Windows XP est doté d'un mouchard qui permet à Microsoft de vous tracer sur son site Web.
Il s'agit d'un contrôle ActiveX qui lui permet de lire votre HWID (Hardware ID) ainsi que le MSID (Microsoft ID) qui peuvent être utilisés par Microsoft pour connaître vos mouvements sur son site.
Pour ce faire, cliquez sur le bouton Démarrer et sélectionnez la commande Exécuter. Dans la boite de dialogue, tapez :
Pour XP Familial

regsvr32.exe -u c:\windows\system32\regwizc.dll

Pour XP Professionnel

regsvr32.exe -u c:\winnt\system32\regwizc.dll


Ensuite cliquez sur OK pour valider.
Une fenêtre apparaît en indiquant :
DllUnregisterServer dans c:\windows\system32\regwizc.dll réussi.

NB : Vous pouvez aussi le désactiver dans la base de registre avec la méthode de Steph.
