Mikel Janín est un dessinateur espagnol connu pour son travail sur la série "Justice League Dark" de DC Comics. Janín, né à Pampelune le 22 janvier 1974, a eu une carrière atypique: il a étudié l'architecture à l'Université de Navarre et après huit ans de carrière il a établi un studio avec quelques amis à Castellón, durant la bulle immobilière. En 2009, voyant l'avenir qui attendait sa profession avec la crise, il décide d'abandonner sa carrière et de poursuivre sa vocation de dessiner des BD, avec un passage à Jerez de la Frontera. Après avoir publié en Espagne plusieurs comics liés au football, il est bientôt engagé par DC Comics, et en 2011, il dessinait déjà aux États-Unis sa première série en tant que dessinateur "propriétaire". En juillet 2012, l'artiste a déclaré que son intention était de rester dans la Justice League Dark pour un moment.
