Né en Normandie en 1967. Enfant, il est fasciné par les images et apprend à lire avec Tintin. Après des études supérieures, il se consacre au dessin et travaille à la demande, en atelier, produisant planches de bande dessinée et illustrations ; il publie alors régulièrement dans la presse Hachette-Disney. L’album "Sur la neige", d’après un scénario de Wazem, paraît aux Humanoïdes Associés en 2004 : la journée décisive d’un shérif, isolé par l’hiver, quelque part dans le Middle West. Aubin présente un autre projet à différents éditeurs ; Dargaud ne prend pas l’histoire mais retient le dessinateur…
