    The blur is natural (I don't use a tilt-shift feature, but only a Nikon AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED ), and the colors are defined with a white balance set to "shadow" with a manual correction 2 steps right and 1 step hight on the grid. For the post processing, I use Nikon ViewNX to create two 16bits tiffs; one without any modification for the background, and one with accentuation +2 and saturation increase for the subject. After, I use these tiffs as 2 layers (in Photoshop or Gimp). I use a fusion mask (fill with black) for the first layer (the subject) and I use the brush to paint the subject. The subject is more detailed and saturated than the background. After all, I use a blur effect on a layer with desaturation and more warm.
