D’origine écossaise et ancien quartier-maître dans la marine marchande, Morton Murdoch faisait malheureusement pour lui, partie des Klan’s men qui ont exécuté Jonathan Fly à l’instigation de Dwight Rigby. Sur l’ordre de son patron, il fouille la chambre de XIII en l’absence de celui-ci et déclenche l’explosion d’une bombe qu’y avait placée Kernski, l’associé de la Mangouste (dossier 5). Il est tué sur le coup.
Privée de ressources, sa veuve traîne aujourd’hui sa solitude dans son hôtel délabré dans l’attente d’un hypothétique repreneur
