Méthode rapide


  1. Allez dans le dossier qui contient vos programmes (Généralement C:\\Program Files).

  2. Vérifiez que vous avez bien quitté Messenger (sinon, fermez le programme).

  3. Renommez le dossier Messenger en MessengerOFF.




Méthode propre


Etape 1 :


Rendre visible Windows Messenger dans la liste des programmes à désinstaller.

  1. Vérifier que les dossiers chachés sont affichés (Outils/Options des dossiers).

  2. Trouver le dossier C:\Windowsinf.

  3. Dans ce dossier, faire clic droit sur le fichier Sysoc.inf, sélectionner la commande Ouvrir.

  4. Une nouvelle fenêtre apparaît.
    Dans la ligne commençant par msmsgs=, supprimer le mot hide.


Exemple :

Remplacer msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,hide,7
par msmsgs=msgrocm.dll,OcEntry,msmsgs.inf,,7


Etape 2 :


Désinstaller le programme.

  1. Dans Paramètres/Panneau de configuration, sélectionner "Ajout/Suppression de programmes".

  2. Supprimer Windows Messenger.




Méthode "commande"



  1. Dans le menu Démarrer, cliquer sur Exécuter.

  2. Introduire la commande suivante :


    RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove


  3. Cliquer sur OK.
