This class provides the functionality of a "Message Authentication Code" (MAC) algorithm.

A MAC provides a way to check the integrity of information transmitted over or stored in an unreliable medium, based on a secret key. Typically, message authentication codes are used between two parties that share a secret key in order to validate information transmitted between these parties.

A MAC mechanism that is based on cryptographic hash functions is referred to as HMAC. HMAC can be used with any cryptographic hash function, e.g., MD5 or SHA-1, in combination with a secret shared key. HMAC is specified in RFC 2104.

Returns the algorithm name of this Mac object.

This is the same name that was specified in one of the getInstance calls that created this Mac object.

Returns:
the algorithm name of this Mac object.

getInstance

                             throws NoSuchAlgorithmException
Generates an Mac object that implements the specified MAC algorithm. If the default provider package provides an implementation of the requested MAC algorithm, an instance of Mac containing that implementation is returned. If the algorithm is not available in the default provider package, other provider packages are searched.

Parameters:
algorithm - the standard name of the requested MAC algorithm. See Appendix A in the Java Cryptography Extension Reference Guide for information about standard algorithm names.
Returns:
the new Mac object.
Throws:
NoSuchAlgorithmException - if the specified algorithm is not available in the default provider package or any of the other provider packages that were searched.

getInstance

Quels sont les motivations de cette démarche?

Maintenir les pages en cache sur différents sites peut offrir plus de disponibilité.

Des facilités sont mises en place pour que les membres de l'infobrol puissent effectuer des traductions en français des différents documents. Ceci devrait permettre aux débutants en programmation Java de consulter les API en français s'ils maîtrisent moins bien la langue de Shakespeare. Dans le cas où une traduction a été soumise, elle est disponible au moyen d'un lien en bas de page. Si la traduction a été validée, la page s'affiche par défaut en français, et un lien en bas de page permet d'atteindre la version en anglais.

Le code sur l'infobrol est automatiquement coloré selon la syntaxe, et les différents mots clés sont transformés en liens pour accéder rapidement aux informations.

Vous avez la possibilité de partager vos expériences en proposant vos propres extraits de code en utilisant le bouton "ajouter un commentaire" en bas de page. Si vous visitez simplement l'infobrol, vous avez déjà accès à cette fonction, mais si vous étes membre du brol, vous pouvez en plus utiliser des boutons supplémentaires de mise en forme, dont la coloration automatique de vos extraits de codes.
